Hello neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Cargo Carrier on a 2022 BMW X3. When you have a SUV, it's really nice to haul around the family and be able to do a bunch of different activities, and sometimes, when you're going on longer road trips, you run out of space, or even if you're just having to do a bunch of around the town of errands, you may fill up that trunk pretty quick, that's where a cargo carrier comes into play. This adds a whole lot of real estate to your vehicle, and pretty much you can add up to 500 pounds on here, so even if you are picking up maybe some stuff from the hardware store that's heavy, or maybe some bags of dirt, and you don't want them inside your car, you can also use that and put it outside, and not have to worry about getting your car dirty. As far as dimensions go, this is 17 by 46, it's pretty good amount of real estate here, so if you're putting your camper or your cooler or anything else in the back, you can load it up, it's gonna doing great back here, it's also not gonna collect water with this open design, and there's going to be plenty of spots to attach a strap to strap that down, that's all open, so you can kinda make it your own. Few quick measurements, from the furthest point of the rear fascia to the furthest point on the cargo carrier, we're looking at right at about 25 inches, and so that's something to keep in mind, if you are planning on keeping this on your vehicle for a long time, and you're used to parking somewhere, just know that you do have that extra two foot hanging out. Today in your 2020 BMW X3, we're going to be taking a look at etrailer's folding and tilting cargo carrier.A cargo carrier is going to help you free up room inside your vehicle, or allow you to bring more things with you onto your adventure, whether you're going to be getting things out of the vehicle for more passengers, or if you just need to bring along some more gear with you for those long stays.One of the things I really like about this cargo carrier is its size. There's plenty of area here to get a lot of gear on here. It measures 60 inches wide, 24 inches long, and it has a depth of five and a half inches, all on the inside of our carrier here.I also like that it features a mesh floor. So it gives you plenty of area, so that way, if you've got any smaller items that are ridiculously small, it can easily store those on here, but having a way for dirt and rain to pass through is going to ensure that if you're going through any stormy weather, that you're not going to pool up water on your gear and things.
